At NVF, we believe in, and teach our children about, 'Healthy mind, Healthy body', in order to promote good habits for mental health. Recently the Children's Commissioner, Dame Rachel De Souza, has published ‘What I wish my parents or carers knew…’: A guide for parents and carers on managing children’s digital lives' and you can find this, and the activity booklet that goes with it, here:

https://issuu.com/childrenscommissioner/docs/what_i_wish_my_parents_or_carers_knew...a_guide_on

One clear statistic is that of the many children and young people spoken to as part of the national survey, almost unanimously they would not give their own children a smartphone.
